On August 24, 1972 at the Baltimore Civic Center in Baltimore, Maryland former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali fought in several exhibition matches. His original opponents were Obie English and George Hill, but were substituted for by Alonzo Johnson and Ray Anderson. The show had several other bouts including welterweight Johnny Gant winning over Bobby Hayman. Offered here is a very rare official program for this event.
This is an original, official program consisting of 8 pages plus the ocvers. It is complete with numerous photos of Ali and a full page profile. Neatly scored. names of Ali's opponents neatly written on cover along with date 1972. Tight binding. Not creased or torn. Minor cover soiling from handling. The only example of this program we have seen. 8 1/2" x 11."
