History: On May 1, 1957 at Chicago Stadium world middleweight champion Gene Fullmer defended his title against the man he won it from four months earlier, Sugar Ray Robinson. In the 5th round Robinson landed a tremendous left hook to the jaw of Fullmer knocking him out. Ring Magazine in 1997 named this knockout as the greatest knockout of the previous 50 years. Sugar Ray Robinson had regained the world title. Offered here is a very rare, original, full, unused ticket for this event.
Full description: This is an original, full, unused ticket which names and pictures both fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Stub firmly attached. Tape stains on reverse. Front is clean. Bold color and print and bold, clear images. Not creased or torn. 1 3/4" x 5 1/2." Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
