HISTORY: Julio Cesar Chavez was born on July 12, 1962 in Ciudad Obregon, Mexico. He won the WBC Jr. Lightweight Title on September 13, 1984 from Mario Martinez. On November 21, 1987 he defeated Edwin Rosario to win the WBA Lightweight Title. He won the WBC Jr. Welterweight Title on May 13, 1989, defeating Roger Mayweather.
