HISTORY: Following Amanda Serrano becoming the undisputed featherweight champion with a victory over Erika Cruz, the rematch with Katie Taylor was set to take place on May 20, 2024 in the 3Arena in Dublin. However, in late February, 2024 it was announced that Serrano would not be able to make the date due to damage suffered in the fight with Cruz.
On April 16, 2024, Netflix announced that the rematch would take place on July 20, 2024 for the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring super-lightweight titles, as the co-feature bout to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. The event would end up being rescheduled to take place on November 15, 2024 at the A T & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Taylor won the fight, although disputed, with a score of 95-94 on all three judges cards.
