HISTORY: George Foreman fought Tommy Morrison on June 7, 1993 in Las Vegas at the Thomas And Mack Center. Morrison won by decision in 12 rounds to win the WBO Heavyweight Title. Foreman was guaranteed $7 million. Morrison was guaranteed $1.25 million. Foreman was a 7 to 5 favorite. Morrison used constant movement against Foreman. Foreman had a point deducted in the tenth round for a low blow. Morrison landed 260 of 572 punches. Foreman landed 225 of 400. It was a one sided decision. Judge: Dalby Shirley scored it 117-110, Judge: Jerry Roth scored it 118-109, and Judge: Patricia Morse Jarman scored it 117-110 all for Morrison.
