ALI, MUHAMMAD-CHUCK WEPNER WIRE PHOTO (1975)

On March 24, 1975 World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali defended his title against the "Bayonne Bleeder" Chuck Wepner at the Cleveland Coliseum in Ohio. It was a one sided fight, but Wepner's enduring performance inspired the creation of the Rocky movies. Ali won by TKO in the 15th round. Presented here is an original wire which depicts action during this bout.
