On March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York undefeated heavyweight champions Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali fought to determine the real champion. In arguably his greatest fight, Joe Frazier prevailed knocking Ali down in the final round en route to winning a unanimous 15 round decision. Offered here is an original poster for this fight used for the purpose of gambling on the fight.
This is an original, 1971, cardboard, gambling poster which pictures both fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Minor soiling. Not creased or torn. Edge, corner and surface wear. Tack holes on the perimeter. 8" x 15." Rare, the only example we have seen.
