ALI, MUHAMMAD-JOE FRAZIER I SOUVENIR PENNANT (1971)

On March 8, 1971 undefeated champions Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier squared off in Madison Square Garden in New York to decide who the true World Heavyweight champion was. After 15 rounds Joe Frazier emerged victorious in what was undoubtedly his finest moment as a professional fighter. Offered here is a vintage souvenir pennant from this fight.
This is a felt pennant picturing both fighters. Complete with the tassles. No tack holes. Generally clean on front and back. Not torn or clipped. Very minor fading. 28 1/2" to the end of the tassles.
