ANTUOFERMO, VITO SIGNED BOXING ILLUSTRATED (APRIL 1980)

HISTORY: Vito Antuofermo was born on February 9, 1953 in Bari, Italy. He won the World Middleweight Title on June 30, 1979 in a bout with Hugo Corro. He announced his retirement on December 7, 1981 but came back in 1984 to fight again. He finally retired after an October 20, 1985 fight with Matthew Hilton with a final record of 50-7-2 with 21 KO's.
