HISTORY: Henry Armstrong fought Ceferino Garcia at Gilmore Stadium on March 1, 1940 in Los Angeles. The fight ended in a draw after 10 rounds. Billed as a World Middleweight Title fight it was recognized only by California. This was George Blake's last assignment as a referee, according to his obituary in the Dec. 21, 1952 New York Times.
