ARMSTRONG, HENRY-MIKE BELLOISE OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1937)

On March 12, 1937 at Madison Square Garden in New York future world champion Henry Armstrong fought Mike Belloise in the main event of a featherweight contest. Armstrong stopped Belloise in 4th round. Belloise was on his back with the count at seven when the bell rang to end the fourth round. His corner was unable to revive him between rounds. Offered here is a rare, original, official program for this event.
This is an original, official program which consists of 48 pages complete plus 4 page insert. Tight binding. Edge and corner wear. Clean inside and out. Neatly scored. Insert has three holes punched at left edge and is creased at center. 8 1/2" x 11." Rare, the second we have seen.
