Henry Armstrong was born on December 12, 1912 in Columbus, Mississippi. He won the World Featherweight Title on October 29, 1937 from Petey Sarron. He then went on to win the World Welterweight Title from Barney Ross on May 31, 1938. 3 months later on August 17, 1938 he defeated Lou Ambers to win the World Lightweight Title. He retired after losing to Chester Slider on February 14, 1945 with a final record of 152-21-8 with 100 KO's. Presented here is a signed cut of Henry Armstrong on the front and back.
Henry Armstrong has boldly signed the front and back of this 3" x 5" card in black pen. There are 2 small creases in the upper left corner, not affecting the signatures. No rips or tears.
