Jimmie Austin (B-4/13/1888; D-8/14/1962) was born in Syria as Austin Debs. He fought as a flyweight between 1907 and 1912 amassing a record of 9-9-7. In his career he fought some top fighters in his division including Jimmy Carroll, Buddy King and Hughie McGovern. Offered here is an original, first generation, antique photograph of Jimmie Austin.
