On August 1, 1982 at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas rising middleweight star Tony Ayala, Jr. fought Robbie Epps in a featured bout. Ayala, Jr. battered Epps and stopped him in the first round. Offered here is an original, first generation photo which depicts Ayala closing in on a helpless Epps standing in the corner.
