JoSportsInc
On June 1, 1939 at Yankee Stadium in New York heavyweights Lou Nova and former champion Max Baer battled in the main event of an important divisional matchup. Nova stopped Baer in the 11th round of an exciting fight. Baer, "the left side of his face battered out of shape after ten rounds of the most excruciating fighting he had ever undergone, was bleeding so severely from a severe laceration of the lower lip he could hardly breathe" when the referee stopped the bout (New York Times). Offered here is a scarce, original Dressing Room Pass for this fight.
This is an original, circular Dressing Room Pass which includes the original wrist string. Printed on heavy stock. Bold color and print. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. 3 1/4" diameter.
