HISTORY: Jimmy Barry was born on March 7, 1870 in Chicago, Illinois. He defeated Jack Levy on December 5, 1893 to win the World 100 pound title. On December 6, 1897 he defeated Walter Croot to win the World 108 pound title. He retired after fighting Harry Harris to a draw on September 1, 1899 with a final record of 58-11 with 40 KO's.
