On February 22, 1957 at the Arena in Cleveland, Ohio world welterweight champion Carmen Basilio defended his title against old foe Johnny Saxton. Basilio stopped Saxton in the 2nd round. Saxton was knocked down by a left hook, but rose unsteady, causing referee to stop the bout. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts action during the fight.
