BATTAGLIA, FRANKIE SIGNED PHOTO

Frankie Battaglia was a Canadian middleweight born in Winnepeg, Canada on September 13, 1910. He turned professional on November 26, 1928 with a loss to Frankie Jackson. In his career he fought great middleweights including: Ben Jeby, Freddie Steele, Solly Krieger, Gorilla Jones, and Babe Risko. He retired after a loss to Gene Black on December 10, 1937 with a final mark of 82-18-6. Battaglia passed away on December 17, 1971.
