HISTORY: On December 14, 1968 at the Ariston Theatre in San Remo, Liguria, Italy middleweight champion Nino Benvenuti defended his title against rugged Don Fullmer. Benvenuti, knocked down in the 7th round, arose and won a unanimous 15 round decision. This was Benvenuti's first title defense. On the undercard future champion Bruno Arcari stopped Leon Zadourian in the 4th round of a welterweight bout. Offered here is an original, official program from this event.
