On October 4, 1969 at San Paolo Stadium in Napoli, Campania, Italy World Middleweight Champion Nino Benvenuti defended his title against Fraser Scott. Benvenuti won when Scott was disqualified by referee Tony Gillardi in the 7th round. Scott disqualified for what the Italian referee described as head-butting. Scott argued that he was simply fighting out of a crouch. Offered here is a rare original on site poster from this event.
