HISTORY: On October 2, 1973 at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, Califormia rosing lightweight star Monroe Brooks took on Miguel Mayan in a featured bout. Brooks prevailed winning a unanimous ten round decision. On the undercard welterweight Pete Ranzany made his pro debut knocking out Marc Thomas in the 3rd round.
