HISTORY: On September 12, 1997 at the National Guard Armory in Pikesville, Maryland former world welterweight champion Simon Brown fought Reuben Bell in a featured bout. Nrown stopped bell in the 5th round.
Offered here is an original cornerman's jacket used by the corner of Simon Brown during this fight. The jacket can be seen in video from the fight.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, short sleeve, satin, red, gold and green cornerman jacket. On the front are two patches, one for the U.S.A. and one for Jamaica. On the reverse in gold block letter are sewn the words, SIMON BROWN which are above a lion's head. One of the red beads for the lion's eye is missing. Shows some light soiling and wear. Two pockets on front. Zipper front. Approximate size Large. Jacket is seen in video from the fight:
