On July 4,1907 Tommy Burns fought Billy Squires for the Heavyweight Title.Burns would KO Squires in the first round.Presented here is an original oversized wirephoto form the bout.Jim Jeffries is in the middle and served as the referee for the bout.
This wirephoto from the Burns-Squires bout measures 7 inches by 13 7/8 inches.There is a small tear on the right hand border.The top border has some wrinkling.The back has the actual newspaper article with the same picture attached.Also in the photo are Jim Jeffries,who was referee,Billy Jordan,Eddie hanlon and Tim McGrath.The images are vivid.
