HISTORY: On November 4, 1932 at Madison Square Garden in New York lightweight champion Tony Canzoneri defended his title against worthy challenger Billy Petrolle. Canzoneri dominated the fight winning a unanimous 15 round decision. Canzoneri was "squarely at his peak: a Canzoneri so magnificently conditioned, so beautifully attuned that even the old-timers at the ringside admitted he was worthy to stand alongside the lightweight giants of the past."
