In a light flyweight bout Michael Carbajal stopped Jose Manuel Diaz in the 3rd round. In another light flyweight bout Johnny Tapia won an 8 round decision over John Michael Johnson. In heavyweight bouts Tommy "The Duke" Morrison knocked out Harry Terrell in the first round and Ray Mercer stopped Eddie Richardson in the first round.
