On June 23, 1930 at Phillies Ballpark in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania heavyweight behemoths Primo Cranera and George Godfrey squared off in an important division matchup. Carnera was struck by what the referee called an intentional low blow by Godfrey in the 5th round and was awarded the fight by disqualification much to the dissatisfaction of the 40,000 in attendance. Offered here is an original stubless ticket for this event.
This is an original stubless ticket which pictures both fighters and has a section, row and seat number. Stub firmly attached. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Clear tape on corners on back. Not creased or torn. Clean. 2 3/4" x 5 5/8."
