HISTORY: On September 17, 1930 at Chicago Stadium future world heavyweight champion Primo Carnera met Jack Gross in the featured bout. Carnera knocked Gross out in the 4th round. Gross was a southpaw but his style didn't seem to bother Carnera. Primo was well ahead in each round and put is opponent down for the full count in round four, the only knockdown in the fight. Tight binding. Mild center crease. No tears. Was in an album and when removed it left mild glue stains on back cover. The remainder is clean. 7 1/2" x 10 1/4." Rare, the first we have seen.
