CARNERA, PRIMO ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH (ON A YOUTH BOXING TEAM)

HISTORY: Primo Carnera was born on October 26, 1906 in Sequals, Italy. He won the World Heavyweight Title on June 29, 1933 from Jack Sharkey. He retired after losing to Luigi Musina on May 12, 1946 with a final record of 88-14 with 1 no decision and 69 KO's. Presented here is an original, first generation photo of Primo Carnera on a youth boxing team in Italy. Carnera is pictured at back cenyer with the boxing gloves at front center.
