On March 10, 1939 at Chicago Stadium future world heavyweight champion Ezzard Charles competed in the amateur Golden Gloves in the 160 pound division. Charles would go on to win this tournament. Jimmy Bivins competed in the 147 pound division. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event.
