On December 10, 1948 at Madison Square Garden in New York rising heavyweight star Ezzard Charles fought Joe Baksi in an important divisonal matchup. Charles stopped Baksi in the 11th round when Baksi told referee Ruby Goldstein that he could no longer see from his cut eye. Offered here is a scarce official program from this event.
