HISTORY: On January 28. 1968 at El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos, Mexico City WBC Flyweight champion Chartchai Chionoi defended his title against Efren "Alacran" Torres. Torres was put down in the 2nd round and the fight was stopped by referee Arthur Mercante in the 13th round due to serious cuts on Torres. Offered here is the official referee's  scorecard of Arthur Mercante for this event. Mercante had Chionoi ahead 116-107 at the time of the stoppage. From the collection of Arthur Mercante.
