CHOCOLATE, KID-PHIL BAKER STUBLESS TICKET (1937)

On September 5, 1937 at Estadio Tropical in Havana, Cuba former world featherweight champion Kid Chocolate fought Phil Baker. Chocolate prevailed winning a ten round decision. Offered here is a rare, original, stubless, on site ticket for this event.
This is an original, paper, stubless ticket which names and pictures both fighters and which is numbered. Ticket is stamped and has a signature. Bold color and print and bold, clear images. Has a Cuban advertisement loosely attached to back. Clean with some age toning. Creased. Minor corner wear. 3 3/8" x 5 1/2." Rare, the only example we have seen.
