On February 7, 1961 at the Convention Hall in Miami Beach light heavyweight champion Harold Johnson defended his title against Jesse Bowdry in the main event. Johnson stopped Bowdry in the 9th round. On the undercard in his fourth professional fight young Cassius Clay knocked Jim Robinson out in the 1st round in a heavyweight bout. Offered here is an incredibly rare, original, official program for this event.
This is an original, official program which pictures Johnson & Bowdry on the cover and which consists of 10 pages including the covers. Not scored. Tight binding. Not creased or torn. Slight rust on staples. Clean inside and out. 6 3/4" x 9 1/2." It would be hard to find one better.
