CLAY, CASSIUS-SONNY LISTON I WIRE PHOTO (1964)

Cassius Clay fought Sonny Liston on February 26, 1964 in Miami Beach. Clay won by TKO in the 7th round to win the World Champsionship. This was one of the great upsets in the history of heavyweight boxing. Presented here is an original wirephoto from the fight depicting Clay insulting Liston at the weighin for the fight.
This is an original wirephoto in black and white with the wire service stamp on the reverse and caption on the front. In fine condition. No creases, rips or tears. Clean with a sharp image. 7" x 9 1/2".
