James J. Corbett was born on September 1, 1866 in San Francisco, California. He won the World Heavyweight Title from John L. Sullivan on September 7, 1892. He retired after losing to Jim Jeffries on August 14, 1903 with a final record of 11-4-2 with 2 no contests and 7 KO's. Presented here is an antique pinback of James J. Corbett, mas champion, dated July 21, 1896.
This antique pinback measures 7/8 inch in diameter and pictures Corbett in full fight pose. The face shows minor wear,no scratches.The back has the original union label for Whitehead & Hoag. Bold color and clear image. No dents.
