HISTORY: Oscar de la Hoya fought Wilfredo Rivera on December 6, 1997 in Atlantic City. De la Hoya won by TKO in the 8th round to successfully defend his World Welterweight Title. Rivera was down in Round 4. The ringside doctor Howard Taylor advised to stop the fight due to a Rivera cut. Presented here is an original, on site for this event.
