Paddy DeMarco was born on February 10, 1928 in New York City. He fought as a lightweight during the 1940's and 1950's. He won the World Lightweight Title when he defeated Jimmy Carter by unanimous decision on March 5, 1954. DeMarco passed away on December 13, 1997.
