DEMPSEY, JACK & GENE TUNNEY SIGNED FIRST DAY ENVELOPE (1965)

Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney fought each twice with Tuunney prevailing in both fights. In 1926 Tunney won the heavyweight title from Dempsey in Philadelphia and in the following year he again came out on top defeating Dempsey in Chicago in the famous "Long Count" fight. Offered here is an original 1965 First Day Cover for Physical Fitness which has been signed by both Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney. Authenticated by Jimmy Spence (JSA).
This is an original 1965 First Day Cover. Signed on front by Jack Dempsey in fiber tip pen and Gene Tunney in ballpoint pen. Not creased or torn. Clean front and back. 3 3/4" x 6 1/2." Authenticated by JSA and comes with their full letter.
