HISTORY: Roberto Duran was born on June 16, 1951 in Guarare, Panama. He won the World Lightweight Title on June 26, 1972 from Ken Buchanan. He won the World Welterweight Title on June 20, 1980 from Ray Leonard. On June 16, 1983 he won the WBA Junior Middleweight Title from Davey Moore. Presented here is a signed boxing license application from 1978. This license was approved on September 30, 1978 and was used for Duran's fight with Monroe Brooks in December, 1978.
