On April 27, 1968 at the Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California heavyweights Jerry Quarry and Jimmy Ellis battled for the vacant WBA heavyweight title. Ellis won a close majority decision to win the tile. Offered here is an action photograph from this fight which has been signed by Jimmy Ellis.
