On October 2, 1929 at the Coliseum in Chicago former heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey promoted a boxing show which was headlined by world welterweight champion Jackie Fields defending his title against tough Vince Dundee. Fields prevailed winning a ten round decision. On the undercard in a battle of middleweights Dave Shade won a ten round decision over Joe Roche. Offered here is a scarce, full, unused ticket to this event.
This is a full, unused ticket which pictures Jack Dempsey. Bold color and print. Stub firmly attached. Bold, clear image. Minor soiling and a surface scratch on the stub. Not creased or torn. Minor stain on lower border. 2 1/8" x 7." Quite scarce.
