HISTORY: Robert Fitzsimmons was born on May 26, 1863 in Helston, Cornwall, England. He won the World Middleweight Title on January 14, 1891 from Jack Dempsey. On March 17, 1897 he won the World Heavyweight Title from James Corbett. He later won the World Light Heavyweight Title on November 25, 1903 from George Gardner. He retired after fighting Jersey Bellew on February 20, 1914 with a final record of 43-12 with 6 no decisions, 1 no contest, and 32 KO's.

Published by Drexel Biddle Publishers of Philadelphia. First edition 1901.185 pages complete. A small break in binding, but book is well intact. One loose page. Soiling to covers with clean interior. 5 1/2" x 8 1/4."

An exceedingly rare signed edition highly sought after by collectors.
