FOREMAN, GEORGE-GREGORIO PERALTA PRESS KIT (1971)

On May 10,1971 at the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum rising heavyweight star and future champion George Foreman fought Gregorio Peralta in a heavyweight bout. Foreman won in the 10th round by TKO. Presented here is an original press kit which was distributed to the media before the event.
This is an original, 4 page, 2 pocket style press kit which pictures the fighters on the cover and which contains numerous pages of information on the fighters, fight and venue as well as 11 8" x 10" glossy photos. Tight binding. Crease on upper border. Closed tear on right side of covers with no paper loss. Minor edge and corner wear. Generally clean. 9 1/2" x 11 3/4." Rare, the only we have seen.
