HISTORY: Bob Foster was born August 15, 1973n December 15, 1938 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title on May 24, 1968 from Dick Tiger. He fought Ali on November 21, 1972 for the NABF Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after losing to Bob Hazelton on June 3, 1978 with a final record of 56-8-1 with 46 KO's. Presented here is an original, first generation photograph taken on August 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico picturing Joe Frazier, his manager Yank Durham and Bob Foster which has been signed as world light heavyweight champion Bob Foster.
