FRAZIER, JOE-JUMBO CUMMINGS ON SITE POSTER (1981)

On December 3, 1981 at the International Amphitheatre in Chicago former heavyweight champion, Joe Frazier fought Floyd "Jumbo" Cummings in a non title match. The two fought to a draw. This served as evidence to Frazier how much his skills had diminished and he retired following the fight. Presented here is a rare on site poster to the event.
This poster is printed on heavystock and pictures both fighters. The poster has small tack holes in the corners. It has been creased. There is some minor soiling. The names of the replacement fighters on the undercard have been neatly written in. Edge and surface wear. 15 " x 28 1/2." Exceptionally rare, the only example we have seen to date.
