HISTORY: On March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York undefeated heavyweight champions Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali fought to determine the real champion. In arguably his greatest fight, Joe Frazier prevailed knocking Ali down in the final round en route to winning a unanimous 15 round decision. Offered here is a rare, original, full, unused ticket for the Joe Frazier Victory Party scheduled after the fight. Although Frazier won, he ended up in the hospital and could not attend his own party. Authenticated by PSA/DNA and graded FR 1.5.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, full, unused ticket which pictures Joe Frazier. Printed on heavy stock. Stub firmly attached. Not creased or torn, but does have a compression from handling. Bold color and print. Bold, clear image. Stain at bottom of front of ticket and on the back. 3" x 7." Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA and graded FR 1.5 with cert # 74771158.
