HISTORY: On October 24, 1952 at Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis legendary wrestler Verne Gagne matched up against Hans Schmidt in the main event. Gagne prevailed pinning Schmidt at 25: 14. Promoted by the legendary Sam Muchnick. Offered here is an exceedingly rare, original, on site poster for this event.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which names both wrestlers and pictures Verne Gagne in full pose. Bold color and print. Bold, clear image. No center crease. Small tack holes and creases at the corners. Poster has some light staining and soiling. Edge and corner wear including two small closed tears with no cardboard loss. 21" x 27." Exceedingly rare, we have seen no others.
