GAVILAN, KID VINTAGE SIGNED PHOTO

Kid Gavilan was born on January 6, 1926 in Camaguey, Cuba. He won the World Welterweight Title on May 18, 1951 in a bout with Johnny Bratton. He retired on September 11, 1958 with a final record of 107-30-6 with 28 KO's. Presented here is a vintage signed photograph.
Kid Gavilan has boldly signed this 8" x 10" photo in blue ink. He has inscribed it, "To Joe best wishes Kid Gavilan 9/18/49." He signed it about one month before his fight with Beau Jack. There is some minor wear along the edges and light soiling in the top half of the photo. No rips or tears. Clean signature.
