On May 20, 1995at the Convention Center in Atlantic City former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield fought tough Ray Mercaer in the main event. Holyfield fought well and won a unanimous ten round decision. On the undercard IBC welterweight champion Hector "Macho" Camacho defended his title against Homer Gibbins.
