Beau Jack was born on April 1, 1921 in Augusta, Georgia. He won the New York World Lightweight Title on December 18, 1942 from Tippy Larkin. he retired after losing to Ike Williams on August 12, 1955 with a final record of 83-24-5 with 40 KO's.
